Last October we were in Portland for two mammoth exhibitions, but that was nothing compared to our trips in 2017…. so far.
Located in Austin the capital of Texas, we exhibited at Procore’s Groundbreak Conference in April and what a ground-breaking event it was. From the exciting news about the release of Procore OS to talks from TV Personality, Mike Rowe, and finally hearing from the unbelievably talented Steve Wozniak, there was never a dull moment.
Working hard, demonstrating and representing Progressclaim.com in our beloved cyan blue, we were astounded by the level of traffic and interest in our simple, yet beautiful payment claim software. The payment claim (or Pay Apps as they’re called in the USA) pain is just as big an issue state-side as it is in Australia and everyone was impressed with how our software addresses all the pain points, simply, quickly and easily.
Highlights throughout the conference were numerous, but the parties Procore threw for the 3000 attendees were definitely some of the highest, they know how to hold a party! Notably, the performances of some of the coolest guys of the 90’s in Tone-Loc and Vanilla Ice were a stand out. Did you know that Vanilla Ice is now a Head Contractor and has been for the past 16 years? Who would have thought…
There were some amazing exhibitors and we love meeting them because they’re always demoing cool new tech providing innovative solutions all about helping the construction industry. See what some of our fellow exhibitors had to say:

Next Up, Minneapolis, and what a month of madness it was! Exhibiting at the 2017 National TUG User Conference.
Land of the next Superbowl, Minneapolis was rife with construction preparing for the event. It is also according to Wikipedia the friendliest state in the world, awarding the title – Minnesota nice – and we can vouch for this! Every person we spoke to was so helpful, going out of their way to make sure a bunch of Aussies could find their way around.
A cool architectural fact about Minneapolis, most of the year it is snowing, so to avoid having to walk outside during those freezing months, the city created Skywalks. Almost every building in the city is connected by a Skywalk, so you can walk through the whole CBD without taking one step outdoors.
The 2017 National TUG User Conference proved to be another successful expo, talking to construction companies about the daily issues they face regarding Pay Apps and how we help solve that pain. The conference wrapped up with an awesome night at the “Speakeasy,” full of food, dancing and good company.
Highlights from TUG would have to be the exhibitor interviews. Take a listen…
